Account Warnings

BetterMail actively tracks several metrics that may cause problems when sending mail. Two important metrics are the bounce and complaint rates for your account. You may receive warning messages on your account's dashboard if these rates hit corresponding thresholds. These messages are described in sections below.

Bounce Rate High

You have over 4.5% of bounces from your recent sending. This may be due to a recent upload of an old subscriber list. Please ensure that you keep your subscriber lists clean and only send to verified email addresses.

Bounce Rate Critical

You have over 9% of bounces from your recent sending. Your account is now at risk of being paused or closed.

Complaints Rate High

You have over 0.09% of complaints from your recent sending. This may be due to a recent campaign not being relevant for your subscriber base or if you have used a purchased emails list. We take complaints seriously and so should you. Please work out what caused the complaints and resolve the issue.

Complaints Rate Critical

You have over 0.45% of complaints from your recent sending. Please urgently investigate the reason for the high complaints rate and resolve. Your account is now at risk of being closed.
